A Successful Treatment of Ganglionated Plexus Ablation for Vagally Mediated Sleep‐Related Advanced Atrioventricular Block

ABSTRACT We report a case of a 41‐year‐old man with recurrent nocturnal ventricular asystole secondary to advanced atrioventricular (AV) block, which was successfully treated with ganglionated plexus (GP) ablation based on the presumption of excessive vagal tone. This approach may offer a potential alternative for vagally mediated nocturnal AV block in selected young patients who decline pacemaker implantation.
