Abstract Diastereoselective synthesis of 3,2′-methylene bridged 6-oxygenated 4a,6-cis-4a, 8a-cis-4a-aryldecahydroisoquinoline ring system was achieved by an application of N-acyliminium ion-polyene cyclization at the initial stage.
