During the operation of oil and gas condensate field power supply system, voltage dips are recorded after disturbances in electrical network, which leads to shutdown of process equipment magnetic starters or unsuccessful group self-starting of electric motors. Several countermeasures are considered to increase transient stability and keep motor load in operation when voltage drops below critical level. Application of independent power source for magnetic motor starters is substantiated. This solution is effective in event of close short circuits, but does not exclude the loss of stability during long voltage dips. As a result of combining various procedures, optimal solution is developed, in which some generators with an increased voltage setting are in operation, one-to-one transformers are installed on outgoing feeders of overhead lines. The combination of these measures ensures an acceptable voltage level, successful motor self-starting and transient stability during short circuits up to 1 sec.
