摘要
With the aim of exploring the possibility of monitoring the changes in the pore space as they take place during deformation of rocks at high pressure and temperature, we have implemented a method which utilizes the measurement of the attenuation and phase retardation of a sinusoidal pore pressure variation as it propagates through a sample under test. In this paper, the theory and some design considerations as well as detailed discussion of adequate data analysis are presented. The results of our measurement are presented in Chapter 9 of this volume.
