Abstract Both electron‐rich and electron‐deficient phenyl boronic acids are suitable substrates for the coupling reaction with aryltrifluoroacetimidoyl chlorides (I) and furnish the corresponding trifluoromethyl arylketoimines in good to excellent yields.
