Assessment practices play a crucial role in AI-integrated Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), serving to evaluate student learning outcomes, guide instructional practices, and inform decision-making processes. By leveraging AI technologies, educators can enhance the efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness of assessment practices in sustainable development education. However, it is essential to address the challenges and considerations associated with AI-integrated assessment, including concerns about reliability, validity, bias, ethics, and pedagogy. As we navigate the complexities of the digital age, it is essential to ensure that assessment practices in AI-integrated ESD are aligned with the principles of equity, inclusivity, and social justice, empowering students to become informed, engaged, and responsible global citizens committed to building a more sustainable future.
