摘要
In the era of big data, the digital economy affects many aspects of social life. In the consumer sector, the impact of the digital economy is particularly pronounced. Based on the consumption panel data of digital economy and urban and rural residents from 2011 to 2021, this paper empirically tests the influence and action mechanism of digital economy on residents' consumption level, consumption structure, consumption potential and consumption behavior. The study finds that the development of digital economy has a significant promotion effect and spillover effect on the improvement of residents' consumption level, the upgrading of consumption structure, the release of consumption potential, and the improvement of consumption experience.
