摘要
Novel methylhydrazine and methylhydrazinium chloride complexes of copper in various oxidation states (1, 43, 2) have been prepared and characterised by elemental analyses and magnetic data. The thermal decomposition of these complexes was studied by simultaneous DTA, TG and DTG. The complex Cu(II)Cl2(NH2NH2CH3Cl) decomposes on heating with reduction to Cu(I)Cl. Significantly the complex Cu3(2I, II)Cl6(NH2NH2CH3)2 on heating disproportionates as follows 3Cu(43) → 2 Cu(I) + Cu(II).
