摘要
Significance We demonstrate the ability of two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) such as molybdenum disulfide (MoS 2 ) to modulate and direct cellular functions of human stem cells through photothermal modulation. The global gene expression profile of stem cells reveals significant influence on integrins, cellular migration, and wound healing by photothermal modulation of MoS 2 . The photostimulation of MoS 2 may provide new approaches to regulate cellular migration and related functions.
