摘要
Abstract Methods for estimating inner and outer scales of atmospheric turbulence from correlation functions of lateral displacements of thin beams propagating over short paths are here extended and applied for comparing the von Karman and Hill-Andrews models. We show that estimates can be obtained from the same experimental quantities in both cases and the relationships between these quantities and the turbulence scales are derived for the two models.
