摘要
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal neurodegenerative disease, and patients and their family members are often concerned about possible genetic transmission. About 10% of patients with ALS have a family history of the disease. Furthermore, approximately 30 genes have been implicated in ALS. Advances in genetics research in 2022 led to improvements in the understanding of ALS pathogenesis, which will be important for the development of disease-modifying therapies in the future.
