Membrane destruction and phospholipid extraction by using two-dimensional MoS2 nanosheets

MoS₂ nanosheets are able to disrupt the structure of phospholipid membranes by forming dents on their surface, followed by the extraction of phospholipid molecules to reduce the integrity of the bacterial membrane.
