摘要
Solid reversible phase transitions in organic‐inorganic hybrids exhibiting both high temperatures and multifunction are comparatively rare. Here we present a novel “ABX 4 ” type two dimensional organic‐inorganic hybrid [(C 3 H 12 N 2 O)CdCl 4 ] n ( 1 ) (A = C 3 H 12 N 2 O = deprotonated 1,3‐Diamino‐2‐propanol, B = Cd and X = Cl), which showing ultra‐high solid reversible phase transition temperature of 393 K. The experiment results show that this reversible phase transition is due to the combined actions of order‐disorder and the pendulum of d1,3‐diamino‐2‐propanol guest molecules as well as the twist of Cd–Cl–Cd anions framework. In addition, both UV/Vis diffuses reflectance spectrometry and DFT calculation confirms that 1 has a direct band gap with value close to 4.40 eV. These results indicate that 1 has dielectric switchable property and potential applications in semiconductors.
