摘要
Understanding mobility behaviors in vehicular networks is of great importance for designing optimal networking and communication solutions. While existing researches lacks of comprehensive mobility metrics definition and realistic traffic scenarios, this paper presents novel metrics for individual node, node pairs, groups and networks from both mobility and connectivity viewpoints. Three-phase traffic flows are generated as simulation scenario conforming to real world. Quantitative analysis on those metrics is conducted to provide meaningful guidance for vehicular networking and communication technologies.
