摘要
The study investigates the cyclic impact loads on metal-composite hybrids, focusing on basic titanium-composite laminate. The research highlights the complex mechanical phenomena occurring during cyclic impact, aiming to understand the mechanical response and damage progress of this FML. Based on a comprehensive parameterization approach, a result of cyclic dynamic low-velocity impact loading on laminates, the stabilization in the initiation and propagation of damage was proved, in such meaning that each subsequent load no longer leads to a significant reduction in its strength. The equilibrium state in the laminate’s response to cyclic impacts indicates that degradation processes become less significant, with stresses being increasingly transferred through the membrane effect.
