摘要
Abstract A review-type paper which presents charts and tables for the design and analysis of both fixed-pad and pivoted-pad thrust bearings. These data yield theoretical bearing-performance characteristics on the basis of what is generally regarded to be the most usable theory. Typical bearing design examples are included which illustrate the facility with which theoretical calculations can be made.
