Self-supporting electrodes of lithium aluminium oxide–carbon nanocomposites synthesized from dicarboxylate-intercalated layered double hydroxide for supercapacitors

A three-dimensional hybrid structure of Al/LiAl 5 O 8 /C electrodes with uniform graphite nanosheets, prepared by calcination of organic species intercalated LDH, exhibits high capacitance and excellent cycling stability for supercapacitors.
