摘要
The cyclic nucleotide-gated channels (CNGC) are regulated by cyclic nucleotides (CN). The CN pathway in plants is still under investigation. The mode of functioning relates CNGC to the animal hyperpolarization-activated cyclic nucleotide–modulated (HCN) channels. Besides the CN, the CNGCs can be also be regulated by the interplay of Ca2+ and Calmodulin (CaM). CNGCs regulate important physiological processes in plants.
