摘要
Streets constitute a vital component of urban transportation systems and contribute significantly to enhancing the overall quality of urban life. Consequently, it becomes crucial to assess their performance in serving the needs of their users. Various methods exist for evaluating streets, one of which involves the direct observation of street users. This process involves employing different techniques such as video recording and analysis. In this project, a Python-based graphical user interface application called STUDIO was developed to facilitate the observation of street users using video footage. STUDIO offers a range of tools for reviewing recorded videos and analyzing the trajectories of street users to extract data on their movement, behavior, and activities. Further, STUDIO offers a set of analysis tools which can provide engineers and planners with valuable indicators to evaluate streets in terms of their three primary functions: mobility, access, and place.
