Computational investigation of high stability and solar-to-hydrogen efficiency in two-dimensional SiP, GeP, and SnP for enhanced photocatalytic water splitting

SiP, GeP, and SnP monolayers demonstrate exceptional stability, high electron mobility (1558.15–6243.65 cm 2 V −1 s −1 ), strong solar absorption (∼10 5 cm −1 ), and impressive solar-to-hydrogen efficiencies (8–13%).
