Studies on the Chemical constituents of the Root of Angelica pubescens f. biserrata

Aim To study the chemical constituents of the root of Angelica pubescens Maxim.f.biserrata Shan et Yuan in the China National GAP Base of Chinese Materia Medica for Angelica pubescens Maxim.f.biserrata in Hubei Province of China.Methods The chemical components were isolated by solvent extraction and column chromatography and their structures were identified on the basis of physic-chemical constants and spectral data.Results Thirteen compounds were isolated and identified as osthole(Ⅰ),columbianadin(Ⅱ),2'-deoxymeranzin hydrate(Ⅲ)、columbianetin acetate(Ⅳ),bergapten(Ⅴ),xanthotoxin(Ⅵ),bergaptol(Ⅶ),columbianetin(Ⅷ),sucrose(Ⅸ),isoimperatorin(Ⅹ)、psoralen(Ⅺ),bisabolangelone(Ⅻ)and glyceride(ⅩⅢ).Conclusion Compounds Ⅶ and Ⅺ were isolated from the titled plant and Ⅲ from genus Angelica for the first time
