Patients with mental disorders need a fair depiction in the news media

On Dec 23, 2021, Mind China, a public welfare organisation concerned with mental health, which was initiated by students from different universities (ie, Harvard University, Columbia University in the City of New York, University College London, Fudan University, and East China University of Political Science and Law) in association with other public welfare organisations, released the first news reporting guidelines concerning people with psychiatric disorders in China.1
