Abstract Use of raceme’s holders for tomatoes of cocktail type was a positive effect on the number of fruits, their weight and the number of ripening fruits. To determine the significance of the differences, we used a statistical method for comparing the arithmetic means of two samples. It has been established that the weight of the fruits with raceme holders (343.7 g) differs from the weight without raceme holders (317.0 g). The difference in weight is 7.7%. The share of ripe fruits of plants with raceme holders was 93%, and without raceme holders -89%.
