摘要
A wideband low-profile dual-polarized metasurface patch antenna is proposed in this paper. To realize dual polarizations, the metasurface antenna consists of patch cells and is fed by a cross-shaped slot. A straight microstrip line and a fork-shaped feedline are employed for the two ports. Centering at 5 GHz, a wide overlapping -10-dB impedance bandwidth between the two ports of 19.4% (4.52–5.49 GHz) is obtained in the simulation. The port isolation is higher than 25.55 dB within the operating frequency. A low profile of 0.07λ makes the antenna promising for wireless communications.
