摘要
The present paper describes the synthesis and structural features of the polymeric chelates of glutarylbis(biuret) and suberylbis(biuret) with metals of the first transition series viz., Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II). The resulting polymeric complexes have been characterized on the basis of elemental analyses, electronic spectral and magnetic susceptibility studies. The nature of bonding has been further discussed on the basis of IR spectral data. A detailed thermal study of the polymeric chelates has been carried out to ascertain their thermal stability.
