The role of nanoscale-range vanadium treatment in LiNi0.8Co0.15Al0.05O2 cathode materials for Li-ion batteries at elevated temperatures

A nano-scale surface protecting layer of LiNi_0.8Co_0.15Al_0.05O₂ consisting of substituted V⁴⁺ ions in 3b sites leads to structural robustness under the most challenging test conditions.
