摘要
Drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms (DRESS) syndrome is a potentially life-threatening, idiosyncratic adverse drug reaction. It typically manifests as a morbilliform rash with fever, lymphadenopathy, hematological abnormalities (including eosinophilia and atypical lymphocytes), and multiorgan involvement.1 A number of drugs can cause DRESS syndrome, including antiepileptic drugs (eg, carbamazepine, phenobarbital, and phenytoin), allopurinol, and sulfonamides.2 The exact incidence is unknown, but the estimated overall population risk is 1 in 1,000 to 10,000 drug exposures.
