摘要
AbstractAbstractCoFe2O4 powders were synthesised at low temperature by a molten salt method using Fe2O3 and Co3O4 as raw materials. The crystal structure and morphology of the powder were characterised by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). X-ray diffraction (XRD) reveals that single phase CoFe2O4 powder can be obtained at 700°C, and SEM images show that the powder is well developed and dispersed. The effect of processing parameter on phase formation and particle size was investigated. The particle growth mechanism is briefly discussed and the activation energies of different species of salts are calculated and compared. The magnetic properties of the powder were also characterised. Keywords: MOLTEN SALT SYNTHESISPOWDERSCOFE2O4ACTIVATION ENERGYLOW TEMPERATUREMAGNETIC MATERIALS
