High-performance biomass-derived Cu–Ni@PA hybrids were constructed for the electrochemical oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural to high-value-added 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid, with high faradaic efficiency (96.7%) and selectivity (97.5%).
