摘要
Ferrites-based optoelectronics devices has rapidly become one of the most significant research topics. Optoelectronic properties have been investigated for bismuth ferrite nanoparticles that is synthesized by the sol-gel method. The structural investigation of bismuth ferrite has been performed by x-ray diffractometer (XRD) and Rietveld refinement carried out. XRD revealed that the synthesized nanoparticles have tetragonal symmetry with the P421c space group. The average crystallite size of the nanoparticles is found to be 36.85 nm. The optical properties have been analyzed using UV–Visible spectroscopy, photoluminescence spectroscopy, CIE diagram, and Fourier transmission infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The value of the bandgap, emission spectra with different colors, and the presence of the different functional groups on the surface of the B24Fe2O39 nanoparticles have been investigated.
