摘要
This report describes the unique superstructure erection of a simple steel Nielsen–Rose type arch bridge. The bridge was newly constructed prior to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games to improve the logistic network around the port in Tokyo, Japan. Because of site conditions and schedule requirements, the entire bridge superstructure, approximately 7000 metric tons including temporary equipment, was assembled near the bridge location, rolled onto barges by self-propelled modular transporters, transported by barges and then erected on site.
