Complications of Liver Disease

Complications of liver disease include pruritus, fatigue, and altered sleep pattern. Pruritus and fatigue can predate the diagnosis of liver disease, especially primary biliary cholangitis; accordingly, liver disease should be considered in patients with these symptoms.
