摘要
To improve the color gamut rendering ability in yellow region, a prototype of a four-primary laser-projection display system with wavelengths set at 465, 525, 532 and 638 nm was demonstrated. An color gamut mapping algorithm suit for four-primary system was proposed, and the improved ability was verified by conducting a psychophysical experiment using a human-eye test, confirming that the performance of the image with a high-saturation yellow color was excellent. Moreover, the improved display performed well regarding color preference. This research provides strong guidance for producing four primary laser display systems commercially.
