Acute and chronic spontaneous urticaria patients show similar autoantibody profiles – CHAPEAU pilot study

We found similar autoantibody profiles and basophil histamine release assay (BHRA) results in AU patients that did not develop CSU and AU patients that progressed to CSU. Our results suggest that the presence or absence of autoantibodies does not define a CSU patient.
