摘要
In the case of DC systems, there is a need to obtain different regulated output voltage levels from variable input voltage. To achieve this, flyback converter can be used in single input multi-output topology with closed loop configuration. In this connection, this paper presents an overview of the conceptual understanding behind the working principle of flyback converter and the design of multi-output flyback converter. To produce regulated multi-output voltages, a model of multi-output flyback converter is developed using Matlab/Simulink platform. In addition, the comparison of the flyback converter with other isolated DC-DC converters such as forward and push-pull converters is discussed to present the case of flyback converters and its superiority over other types of converters. The working of the designed flyback converter is verified through a laboratory prototype.
