In our present work, La0.75Ca0.25–xNaxMnO3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.10) samples were synthesized by the flux method. The structural and the magnetocaloric properties were studied. The crystallographic study indicates that our samples crystallize in the orthorhombic structure, with Pbnm space group. The magnetocaloric properties have been theoretically studied and compared with the experimental results, under low magnetic field of 0.05 T. It has been found that the simulated data M(T), −ΔSM (T), ΔTad and ΔCP,H (T) are in good agreement with the experimental one. In addition, the magnetocaloric effect of Na+ in our system is important and beneficial for manipulating magnetocaloric refrigeration.
