摘要
This study presents the tensile and flexural behavior of the natural fiber-based green composite. Unidirectional bamboo fiber and polylactic acid (PLA) were chosen to design and model the green composite. The tensile and flexural specimens of the green composite were modeled by using ABAQUS 6.14. The properties of the green composite were estimated by varying the fiber loading from 10 to 30 wt.%. The damage to the green composite was also predicted by using the Hashin damage criteria. The simulated results of tensile and flexural strength and modulus were also compared with the published experimental findings.
