SO3H-functionalized metal organic frameworks: an efficient heterogeneous catalyst for the synthesis of quinoxaline and derivatives

The high dispersed –SO₃H groups in the framework of MIL-101-Cr–NH–RSO₃H ensure high catalytic activity for the condensation of 1,2-diamines with benzil. The catalyst exhibits good stability, general applicability and excellent recycling performance.
