摘要
Neonatal acute kidney injury has a complex pathogenesis and the gut microbiota is receiving increasing attention. Gut-kidney axis establishes a bidirectional link between gut microbiota and acute kidney injury. Promoting the study of gut microbiota and neonatal acute kidney injury will contribute to early detection and treatment of this disease. A series of promising biomarkers have emerged in recent years to predict neonatal acute kidney injury earlier than serum creatinine and urine output. However, comprehensive reports on these biomarkers are relatively scarce. In addition, the gut microbiota and biomarkers associated with neonatal acute kidney injury deserve further exploration. Herein, this review summarizes the relationship between gut microbiota and neonatal acute kidney injury biomarkers to deepen our understanding of the role of the gut-kidney axis in neonatal acute kidney injury and provide potential treatment options for neonatal acute kidney injury.
