| 其它 | Objectives: To compare different intra‐canal medicament for canal disinfection using 30% p‐Chlorophenol solution (Endoseptone), Calcium Hydroxide with normal saline & Dry Cotton pellet in terms of mean pain score. Methods: In this clinical trial study, 105 patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis were selected and randomly divided into three groups, 35 in each. Hand files were used for preparing the canals and 30% p‐Chlorophenol solution (Endoseptone), Calcium Hydroxide with normal saline & Dry Cotton pellet were used for intra‐canal medicaments for the canals in each group respectively. Questionnaires were given to the patients, asking for the level of their pain. The patients were followed for 24 hours .The data were statistically analyzed. Results: In this study, significant difference was found in reduction of pain in two out of three groups. In the control group, patients faced mild to moderate pain in 24 hours after pulpectomy and debridement. |
