Irfan Mohamad Jamal Sazly Jamaluddin Mukarramah Che Ayub Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia 16150 Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia 摘要:Introduction: Pleomorphic adenomas predominantly occur in major salivary gland. Besides parotid being its commonest site, few cases of pleomorphic adenoma in submandibular gland and other minor salivary glands have been reported. Most of the minor salivary gland pleomorphic adenomas were originated in the oral cavity and upper aerodigestive tract. Case Report: We report a rare case of patient presented with swelling over the dorsum of the nose. Clinically it was a superficial cyst and complete excision was performed. The histopathological examination of the specimen showed features of pleomorphic adenoma. Conclusion: A complete excision is the mainstay of treatment and follow-up is essential as the disease is known to recur. 关键词: nasal bridgeminor salivary glandpleomorphic adenoma |
