Colchicine as a treatment option for inherited epidermolysis bullosa

Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a rare inherited multisystem disorder. Colchicine is a medication classified as an anti-gout agent and anti-inflammatory drug. Currently, treatment options for EB are limited, with treatment focused on symptom management with no approved systemic treatments available. The article reports three cases of colchicine use in ameliorating EB wounds and systemic inflammation.
