Tuning SF 6 affinity via tailoring pore environments in metal–organic frameworks

Herein, an investigation into the impact of subtle binding site changes on SF 6 affinity is presented by systematically altering the pore environment of MOF-808 via post-synthetic modification with aryl and benzylic fluoride groups.
