摘要
The paper reports the comparative study of generated efficiency of 0.5 and 1.5 THz bands from a BNA crystal using optical; rectification technique. We have employed 800 nm wavelength pulses of 35 fs duration at 1 kHz repetition rate obtained from a Ti: Sapphire laser amplifier for the generation of THz signal. The generated THz radiation without filters shows rapid growth as compared to 0.5 and 1.5 bands, respectively with respect to incident laser power tuned between 70–120 mW range, the efficiency of generated signal without filter, 0.5 and 1.5 band pass filters were 0.559 %, 9.3×10-2 % and 0.168%, respectively.
