A sensitive spectrophotometric method was developed to determine micro H2O2,based on discoloring of 1,5-bis(2-hydroxy-5-sulfophenyl)-3-cyanoformazan(DSPCF)-Mn2+-H2O2 system in Britton-Robinson buffer medium and a linear relationship of the discoloring degree with the certain concentration range of H2O2.The optimum reaction conditions and effects of coexistence substances were examined.The linear range of this method was 0-1.25 μg/mL for H2O2.The method has been applied for the determination of micro hydrogen peroxide in rain water with the relalive standard deviation of 5.50%(n=5)and the average recovery of 98%.
