A composite is synthesized by heating different stoichiometric mixture of element sulfur(S)and vanadium pentoxide(V2O5).The sulfur-vanadium pentoxide composites are characterized by X-ray diffraction and SEM.The electrochemical property is characterized by cyclic voltammetry(CV),A.C.impedance and constant current charge and discharge. It reveals that n(S)∶n(V2O5) at 5∶1 stoichiometric mixture exhibite a good electrochemical property with initial discharge capacity up to 396.7 mAh·g-1 after 20 cycles.
