Objective This study explored the perioperative nursing measures of acute suppurative appendicitis(ASA)treated with operation,so as to improve the clinical efficacy. Methods 107 patients with ASA were treated with operation from October, 2009 to October, 2010. Skills and strategy of perioperative nursing about ASA were analyzed retrospectively. Results The average time of postoperative follow-up was(12.7±4.3) months.Cut infections were occurred in three cases among 107 patients with ASA.The cut infections were healed by dressing.Intestinal adhesions were occurred in two patients that were healed by conservative treatments.No surgical complications were occurred in other patients. Conclusion Reasonable perioperative nursing measures can be to improve the surgical efficacy of ASA and to reduce the complications about ASA.
