摘要
The paper will describe polyethylene pipes with improved characteristics that are used for laying high-voltage cable lines - PE RT (Polyethylene raised temperature). PE RT pipes differ from classic polyethylene pipes in that their characteristics have been improved in the sense that they can withstand much higher and much lower temperatures than classic polyethylene pipes, while retaining all the properties typical of polyethylene such as flexibility, elasticity and endurance. With the development of the energy industry, the use of polyethylene pipes for underground cable lines is increasing, both in the partial part of the line, where the line must pass due to crossing streets, under-drilling, and bridging bridges, to the point that in some projects they are used along the entire length of the cable line route. The paper will describe pipes with their characteristics, and will analyze the differences compared to classic polyethylene, PVC and polypropylene pipes. It will also show the application of pipes in practice, and the calculation of the temperatures expected on the cable sheath during exploitation and how these temperatures affect the pipes will be shown.
