Tb3+ single-doped, Tb3+-Eu3+ double-doped and Dy3+-Tb3+-Eu3+ triple-doped BaO-B2O3-Li2O-Al2O3-P2O5 luminescent glasses were prepared by high-temperature melting. The structure, optical property, and energy transfer were investigated. Under excitation at 387 nm, the CIE chromaticity coordinates of the glass were (0.3375, 0.3265), which were close to the standard white light (0.33, 0.33), for Dy2O3, Tb2O3, and Eu2O3 doping concentrations of 0.5 mol.%, 2 mol.% and 1.5 mol.%, respectively. The confirmation of Dy3+ → Tb3+, Dy3+ → Eu3+, and Tb3+ → Eu3+ energy transfer in the glass was achieved using fluorescence spectra, fluorescence decay curve analysis, and a combination of both.
