The Status and Trends of LED Backlight

At present,LED is widely used in the small and medium size backlight.The light source of large size TV backlight is also changing from CCFL to LED.The advantage of LED backlight: low power,environmental protection without Hg,ultra-slim structural design,high color gamut,high quality display with local dimming.LED backlight applications areas include small size,medium size and large size.The LED backlighting standard system at home and abroad is introduced and also the difficulty and the trends of large size LED backlight is given in this paper.
